Terms of use

DomainRiff.app ("DomainRiff") lets you type a domain you control and receive AI-written ideas for what it could become. By using it you agree to these terms. Contact: message @vibedcoder on X.

Riffing

• Riffing requires signing in with GitHub or Google. One account, one set of riffs.
• Riff only domains you own or control. The riff is generated before proof, but it stays private to you and cannot go live until you prove control with a DNS TXT record, a token file on the domain, or a Cloudflare account that manages it.
• Unverified riffs are deleted 72 hours after the ideas are ready, or 14 days after the whole riff has been written for you once you pick an idea. The same domain cannot be riffed again for 7 days after that. Verified riff pages stay live.
• Choosing one of the three ideas is final for that riff and cannot be undone. After you choose, the whole riff is written for you to read (pitch, build prompt and logo directions); it stays private until you prove control, and proving it is what makes the page public.
• You may not riff a domain to harass, defame or impersonate someone, or to publish illegal content. The AI is instructed to avoid gambling and misleading content, but you are responsible for what you publish from a riff.

AI output

Ideas, pitches and prompts are generated by an AI and may be wrong, unusable or unsuitable. They are suggestions, not advice or guarantees. Build prompts and logo prompts are templates for use with third-party AI tools, which have their own terms. You decide what to build and are responsible for it.

Content you publish

When a riff page goes live you may share it anywhere. The text on the page is produced by our AI for your domain; you may use it, adapt it and delete the page by asking us. You keep responsibility for how you use the page and any claims it makes.

Acceptable use

• No abuse, scraping, automated account creation or attempts to bypass the ownership proof.
• No illegal, infringing or deceptive content, including content that misleads people into thinking a domain or project is official or endorsed when it is not.
• We may remove any riff page and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Credits

• DomainRiff is free. Credits are a free allowance, not a currency: they have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged or withdrawn.
• The weekly allowance is 15 credits until 25 November 2026, then 6 credits. When your balance is below the allowance, it refills to the allowance every Monday. Credits do not stack above the allowance: a refill tops your balance up to the allowance, never above it.
• New accounts start with the full weekly allowance when they first sign in.
• Credits we grant you separately, for example a VIP perk, sit on top of the weekly allowance and stay yours until spent.
• A riff costs 1 credit, spent the moment it starts, and spent credits stay spent whether the result is later rejected, expires or fails. The one exception: if the AI never did the work (a riff stopped before any AI ran), the credit is returned automatically.
• You get one free reroll per set of ideas before you pick. Before you choose you can also regenerate a set for another credit each time (or a free boost for boosted accounts). Once you choose an idea, that riff is final for that domain: it cannot be regenerated. Deleting a riff removes it for good, and the same domain cannot be riffed again for 30 days. Once you have picked an idea and the whole riff has been written for you, delete is closed for that riff: the exits are proving control of the domain or letting it expire.
• Credits on an account banned for repeated spam or abuse are forfeited.
• We may refuse or withdraw the allowance from accounts that abuse it, including multi-accounting or selling credits.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including reliance on AI output or the loss of unverified riff pages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
